01 IDEATION & EXPERIMENTATION
RESEARCH:
Gathering concepts from the exhibition through analyzing teamLab's website, visitor photos, and descriptions, I drew inspiration from the futuristic installations within the exhibit. I wanted to portray adjectives such as immersive, colorful, nature, ethereal, & modern.

INITIAL DRAFTS FOR A3 HANDOUT:
The first and second ideas displayed the bright and attractive colors that I wanted to include yet both designs felt too simple and not original enough. I decided to go with the third design as it better represented specific aspects from the exhibit.
TYPEFACE EXPERIMENTATION FOR A1 HANDOUT:
Through experimentation with 3d materials, I developed various typefaces in attempt to get more experience in different methods by utilizing physical shape and form. I took inspiration in the natural forms and bright colors displayed in the exhibit. Each variation received critique which helped me gain new perspective on readability and aesthetics.
DRAFTS FOR A1 HANDOUT:
First Attempt: usage of the 3d type created during
the workshop. I felt that the page seemed too empty and bare. I also thought that the colors did not fit the feeling that I wanted to portray.

Second Attempt: creation of a collage with metallic letters from Adobe Stock and flower images from Unsplash. I wanted to capture ideas from the famous mirrored room filled with flowers while also making the poster give off futuristic and modern feelings.
